Dear Mini-Me.

My dearest younger self,

Right now you're probably confused. Sad. Alone. Maybe depressed.

Lil-Honeypie, it will be okay. (Yeah your future sef says Honeypie now, trust me,

it's a good thing.)

Right now you don't realize you have been taken avantage of.

Right now you dont know how wrong it was, or how bad you will feel.

Right now I wish I could go back and stop this evil thing from happening to you,

because I love you and it pains me to know what happens to you. It hurts knowing

that you're going to be scared, and alone and that there is nothing you can do about

it.

Right now, sometimes I question that truth.

Could I have done something?

Don't let that question eat away at you as it continues to devour me.

The answer is no. The most painful truth is that the answer is no.

And if you question that, you risk being blamed and I will only repeat this one,

YOU ARE NOT TO BLAME.

You may question that too, but I hope you don't.

Right now, I am promising you that it will be okay.

You will find your strength, and a weight will be lifted.

Right now you are stronger than you have ever been.

Right now, life is going on.

Mini-Me, you'll be just fine.

With so much love,

Your future self
