Dear Miracle Baby

Dear Miracle Baby,

You're growing little one.

From pale and weak to strong and beautiful.

How?

How did you grow so fast.

Some said you wouldn't make it to eight years old.

But, you're ten now.

How?

How, Miracle Baby, did you become this beautiful ten year old?

A ten year old that teaches me.

Teaches me to stand firm in my ways,

Not to run or quit when things become difficult.

I am scared for you now, Miracle Baby.

They say you're sick again.

But this time,

They can't fix it.

No matter how hard they try.

So I hope you're alright, Miracle Baby.

And I will see you on the other side.
