Dear Mom

Dear mom, I couldn’t tell you

All the times I’ve been upset

You shrink my laundry, eat my food

And get the floor all wet

But when I’m down, or need a ride

Or don’t know what to do

Your arms are always open wide

I always turn to you

You may be immature sometimes

And act like you aren’t grown up

I saw you play with blocks one time

For me, you are enough

You gave up your youth for me

Loved, cared, cried and tried for me

You help me, feed me, laugh with me

Without you, I couldn’t be

This poem is about:
My family
