Dear Mom,
I do not miss you
because you are everywhere.
When I ace a test,
I thank you for giving me half of my brain.
When I say "close the lights,"
I like sounding like an idiot because of you.
When I talk about you,
I know you are still alive in my memories.
And as I grow older,
I know you will be there every step of the way.
