Dear Mom

Dear Mom,

You made it out, finally

You can relax now

You have some time to breath

You never backed down

Now you can find some peace

Just don't go back to him

Please, I am so proud of you

He would just snap again

You know he is a coward too

You can escape to me

If you're ever feeling down and blue

I promise I won't bark and bite

Just promise you won't return

I will heal you up and offer light

For all of your dark concerns

Please be good to yourself

I am here if you need to call

Don't be afraid to ask for help

You are my everything, Mom

Love,

Ashley
