Dear mom
Mother,
I love you like no other,
Which is why I must say this,
Even though you want me to think you are in bliss,
I know your not,
I see all your fraught,
And I wish you knew,
How you help me through,
All of my hardest times,
Your my therapist oftentimes,
Now let me be yours,
I know your sadness behind closed doors,
And I want to tell you that the world doesn’t rest on your shoulders,
your hands are not its holders,
And you can’t do this alone,
If only you could be shown,
How much we want to help you,
We want to be with you to get through,
Life’s constants hurdles,
We want to let your light shine before it curdles,
If only you realize,
That in our eyes,
Your not alone.
Love your daughter
