Dear Mom

Dear Mom,

Thank you for bringing me into this world

Through night and day and thought and word

You brought me life, love, and laughter

And I will be forever grateful, now and ever after

Thank for your patience

Your example makes you glow with radiance

I know that at times I was tiring

And set you many a time to perspiring

But even after all the crying, you carried me in your arms

and were always ready to protect me from all in the world that harms

Thank you for showing me the one true church

For without out you, my life could have been an eternal search

You showed me the Lord and all His ways

And now He has set my heart ablaze

Because you led the way, I feel so blessed

I can now find my way to the eternal rest

Thank you for loving me enough

That you would endure all the pain that was so tough

You gave me  all the world and more

And gave me a paddle to go to shore

And though now I have grown and gone

I know your love for me will go on and on

Thanks Mom

Love,

-T
