Dear Mom,
To young to defend for myself
To weak to live without a mother
But all you thought about was yourself
Leaving a sister and a brother
You chose a world that was not for me
Doing drugs to find relief
You left so far feeling over sea
You stole my heart like a expert thief
Using me only to get child support
Keeping me no matter how hard dad fought
But it wasn’t very funny when we ended up in court
It got so bad you had to get a mug shot
Its been 10 years now without my mother
No one to tell about my life
No one to tell about my lover
You wont be there when I’m a wife
Or when I have children of my own
They wont have their real grandmother
You aren’t their when I call you on the phone
At least ill always have my stepmother
Ill always have hope that someday you’ll change
Thank you for teaching me who I don’t want to be
But until then you can keep the change
Love you sincerely me
