Dear Mom & Dad

Dear  Mom & Dad

This is a letter of how I feel

Lately it's like my truth has been concealed

Not because I don't trust you

It's just that I don't know how I feel

All this time I've been pushed towards this goal

Running for a mark, that would never grow old

But what happens when my dreams change?

Worried about how you feel

Will you be ashamed?

The look on your face will never be the same

I have to do what's best for me

Something that will make me truly happy

This is a life full of choices

Some better than others

But through it all

I'll make you proud to be my father and my mother

Your Daughter,

Naomi
