Dear Mom:I am changing.&
Dear Mom:
I am changing.
I am fighting.
I am learning.
I am
Lying, Crying,
I feel like i’m dying.
I’m the storm before a sunny day,
the darkest cloud against a silver lining.
The rain washes pain away, I think I’m okay,
Whatever I say, gives me a price to pay.
I am
Mellow, Yellow,
I feel nothing at all.
I’m the still corolla against the dancing petals,
I’m the one that impediments contentment.
Say what you want to say,
But nothing will push me out of dismay.
I am
Furious, Curious,
I’m not to blame, so my anger’s aflame.
I’m the piqued sky throwing lightning at whoever,
I’m the vermillion splashed onto a white canvas.
Deception to keep me at bay,
But I’m not temperamental, I won’t walk away.
I am
Blooming, Jumping,
I feel the vibrant warmth.
I’m the creator of sunlight,
the life of a party.
It’s all flown away, today’s a new day,
It gives me some life, whatever it may
I am developing.
I am maturing.
I am realizing.
