Dear Momma

I MISS YOU, MOMMA,

I MISS THE BANGING ON MY DOOR

LEVANTATE!

I MISS SEEING YOU AT HOME STRESSING OVER GAS BILLS WE KNOW WE CAN’T AFFORD

I MISS SEEING YOU MORE THAN DADDY

COMO CHINGAS!

OR THE WAY YOU TRIED TO BE COOL TO FIT IN WITH MY GENERATION

I MISS THE WAY YOU WOULD YELL AT ME TO GET UP AND CLEAN

HUEVONA!

I MISS THE WAY YOUR FACE WOULD LIGHT UP WHEN I DID SOMETHING RIGHT

I MISS YOUR KISSES AND HUGS

YOUR SWEET AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE

VEN ACA

I MISS WHEN TIMES WEREN’T SO HARD

AND WHEN YOU CALLED ME THE NAME OF SOMEONE YOU HATED IF I ANNOYED YOU

ROSA MARIA!

I MISS HAVING YOU ACCESSIBLE EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK

NOW I SEE YOU TWICE A WEEK AND THAT’S IF I’M LUCKY

TE AMO,

TU HIJA
