Dear Money

Dear money,

Some have too much of you

Some have too little

You make the world go round

Yet there is so much unfairness

They say “you’re poor because you’re lazy”

But is that true?

Some work their whole lives

Yet don’t die rich

But how were they supposed to get rich anyways?

Because the saying goes, “you have to have money to make money”

But does having you equal success?

No, it doesn’t

Money equals a college degree

And a college degree equals success in this day and age

And someone uses that college degree to go make more of you

The rich get richer

An endless, ironic cycle

Sincerely,

Broke and Dissatisfied
