As she rests her warm head on the reserved meadow I wait.
As she descends I look ahead, waiting for you,
Your imperfections, your craters that comfort me so tightly,
As she descends I wait.

Do you not love me, are you afraid?
You hide behind those puffs that comfort you acting as a barrier between us?
Don’t be alarmed.

It is not you they want it is the new human nature,
I yearn for you and as my eyelids collapse like the fallen ones who waited for you I dream.
My light when I am alone,
My direction when I am lost in the worst places of all- the dangers in myself,
I will wait for you.
