Dear Mother

Dear Mother,

You’ve been here,

Since the beginning of my breath,

To the ends of my peril.

You’ve given me everything,

From your tender heart,

To the dying pieces of your soul.

You’ve become both, I think,

The eye for the world’s vast beauties,

And a tormenting parent when I destroy your clothes.

If only I knew,

What Mother was,

A Goddess of double sheathed kindness,

Could I know to appreciate Her wholeheartedly.
