Dear Mr. Sun
Dear Mr. Sun
Dear Sun,
Why do you bring
The light,
That shines down
To the Earth?
The light
That warms the hearts
Of the elderly and youth.
Why do I
Sit in the clouds,
And drop
Down to the ground?
The reactions
Are of despair,
No matter how
Happy I can be.
Why are the people
Thinking of me,
And are sad
At the present I have?
Mr. Sun why
It is not fair
The fear,
That I bring
I’m destructive
At times.
The winds come
To my aid,
We bring hurricanes
And high tail winds.
Together we bond,
But never do we
Mr. Sun.
Why don’t
People get
I can be
Beautiful too?
I make
Pretty rainbows
For me
And for you.
I am
Who I am,
No one I’d
Rather be,
But me.
Thank you
Mr. Sun, for the
Light you give,
To the people
Who need
It most
But not to me.
But I am
Not sorry for
Myself anymore.
For I know
That I can
Bring comfort
To all.
People just
Need to keep an
Open mind
For me
All in all.
Now we realize,
The truth is clear
That rain is good
And is always near.
