Dear Ms. Carmen

Lisa Marie Carmon

Where ever you are

Columbus, OH

Dear Ms. Carmon,

You took my best friend away from me

But he’s in heaven now

 set free

What did you gain from this?

Was it a game?

Was this just something to mark off your list?

Why make my life hell?

Abusing me for no reason

When you really should be in a cell.

But I’m sure you know that

Instead of let free

with a pat on your back

Were you jealous?

Of me? I’m eleven, you’re 30.

So you had to play dirty?

Skew the little girl, right?

This will all be over

at the dead of the night.

I had all his attention

And you couldn’t handle that

So you shot him

watching him fall on his back

Laying there on the porch

With my heart in his hand

 Being burned by a torch

And maybe you didn’t get attention from your dad

And I agree that’s sad.

But that wasn’t my fault

And you got caught!

You wanted me to experience the same pain you experience

Well I did.

But I was just a kid

Are you happy

That I felt crappy

I fell into depression

And the past became my obsession

I became suicidal

Just staring at the bible

But what good does that do?

Taking out your issues on me

Instead of letting me be

Like I had something to do with your pain

Just stay in your lane

Why couldn’t you let me live

With only love to give

In my happy home

With just me and dad alone

Why do you have so much hate in your heart?

Do you honestly think killing my father was smart?

I can never forget, it’ll never be a blur

May God bless you

For you not understand how ignorant your actions were
