Dear Music

Dear music,

My oldest friend.

An endless journey

Constantly learning

Constantly improving

Never mastered.

Emotions unfold

Expressing anything

And everything.

Leaving wonder and longing

Touching souls

Without words

A universal language.

Dear music,

You touch everyone

You have continuously touched me.

You have given me purpose

Enough to continue your legacy

Teaching the next generation

The sense of humanity

The sense of expression

You have provided

For me

And for all
