Dear My Abuser


Scared, that's what I am

Underneath this hard shell that nobody cracks.

Rise above, grow, that's what I am told.

Violated, that's how I feel

In my body, my mind.

Victorious, that's the goal, and though it will never be

Over, this is my story, my battle, and I will

Reach beyond and stand up tall.
