"Dear, My Future Self"
Dear My Future Self,
Through all the struggles you've endured as me,
what fruits have you harvested from that tree?
What has become of the anxiety and turmoil?
Has it become new nutrients to that old soil?
Hopefully, theses thoughts on every branch and leaf
have helped aid in life's relief.
Countless hours are the teardrops - rain of today!
resulting in the sunshine of tomorrow in every ray.
To you I ask and ponder, old self:
Can your branches and roots of highest admiration
Carry hope and fruits to the next generation?
Sincerely,
Your Passionate Present Self
