Dear NBT,
You made me laugh; you made me cry
You gave me hope; you tore me apart
You left me with so many good memories; you scarred me for life
I don’t really know what to say to you
I blame you, for my success and failure
You gave me a chance, but you never really believed in me
I loved the experience, and yet I still harbor hate towards you
I don’t really know what to say to you
I will miss you, but I am glad to be gone
You gave me grace, poise, elegance, discipline;
You gave me self doubt, pain, and twisted expectations
I know what to say to you
Thank you
Thank you for the memories, the hurt, the challenges, the bliss
Without them I wouldn't be the dancer or the person I am today
I know what to say to you
You have made me strong…
at least on the outside
Yours truly, Rachel
