Dear (not) love

You write of heartache and time bombs

Of love  lost like tears in rain

Regret and fear that leaves you wondering why

My words might be clumsy

Put together in varying orders

Feigning the true intellect and heart you posses

Really they pale in comparison to yours

I see the smiles and the tears encased in each stanza

Words put together to create art to mask your pain and mine

Wonderful beautiful bleeding words

I know I am never truly alone, for you heal the aching in my heart

I will never understand how you swallow it all

My sloppy cries, which always run to you in times of need

Always, always, always

You willingly catch me when I fall,

Thank you, my love
