Dear, old friend

Dear Old Friend,

You wanna know a secret?

I thought I could save us

I thought my words could un-wire clocks

and my eyes could reverse time

If I had a time machine,

I would still  wish to tell you that I was in love with you

until real time was froze on its own

and it didnt need me or you

But the only thing that was frozen was my phone screen

minutes before hitting end

to a vivid dream that was never meant to last

Dear old friend,

did time freeze up when you looked at her?
