Dear Old Me

Dear Old Me

Can you hear me?

Do you miss the mystery of the unknown?

Do you miss the sweet smell of watermelon fill the air?

Do you miss trying to dress up and be grown

Do you miss falling down with a face full of tears

I cannot help this feeling now that i've grown,

But to reflect on my past under the moon stone

I Miss the block parties every week on foster ave

I miss the the performance of the ice cream truck circling around the block

I miss the taste of cocoa bread and jamaican patties

I miss my old friends at P.S 74

I miss being carefree and naive

I miss there being no hurt, innocent

Most of all I miss Myself

Dear Old me please call back
