DEAR OLD ME

Thu, 06/06/2019 - 17:57 -- ADH.19

Dear old me,

Where did you go so fast?

Making mud pies with dirt

Drinking water from the water hose

Having so much fun until you had a filthy shirt

Wishing that this life wouldn’t past

Being the life of the party

Nonetheless, a smarty

Why did the girl who was once so happy

Who was always toe-tappy

Dissappear

And never return

Feeling like the world is crashing

Life is flashing

Rarely laughing

Crying almost every night

Waking up to face the day is a struggle and fight

I miss being that care-free little girl

Who felt like she belonged in the world

Who was filled with so much joy

Dear old me, PLEASE COME BACK!!
