Dear, Passerby
My billboard,
It represents me,
Its shows who I am,
It does not reveal my insecurities,
It shows my best side,
But I hide behind my billboard,
I change it every night,
So people think it’s real,
When people come to see my billboard I run and hide,
I’ve never been found,
The best part about my billboard is that it protects me,
For I am fragile,
My billboard reflects anger and screaming and disappointment,
But some gets through,
And every bit eats away at me,
My billboard is starting to wear down,
But I am the only one who knows,
For my billboard protects me,
And only shows the me I want to be.
