Dear past self

Dear past child,

You will run through this world on a broken heart

The people you think love you will hurt you the most

This is only a meager obstacle in your lifetime

You will gain some and lose some, but never your pride

It may be hard now, but as time goes by you’ll grow

You’ll grow far beyond what you have ever imagined

This is just another chapter in your series

Foolish now but not forever

You’re going to find your place, my child

You will shine above all

Nobody compares to you. Nobody.

One day you will figure this all out

I promise you, you’ll grow to be the goddess you’re meant to be
