Dear Person I didn't mean to hurt
Dear person, I didn’t mean to hurt
I’m sorry I made you fall for that guy who always smiled
He wasn’t worth all the pain he put you through
pushing you around as if he owned you
Yet talking to other girls, while acting so pure with you
Making you believe you were the only one,
Not knowing that he wasn’t the one
Leaving you for another girl
But coming back all fresh and new
You wanted to leave, but I made you stay
Making your heartbreak
You begged me for my help but I locked you in
Making you suffer while I gave in
I’m sorry I made you go back to her
She wasn’t a good friend, and she was worse of the worse
But the feeling of you being lonely was so unsettling
That I couldn’t live with myself seeing you so gloomy
She ran around playing the victim game
And I pushed you to play her stupid game
Not knowing that you’ve had enough and started to break
I didn’t care, and I should’ve cared
Because after what she did, it was your last straw
You finally broke
You finally changed
I’m sorry you grew distant
You shouldn’t have locked up your emotions
You shouldn’t have locked up your heart
All the people who pushed you around finally got to you
And finally made you grow as a person
But as you grew, you started to have doubt
Of all the people in your life so you didn’t get close
Not an inch, not a centimeter, not a chance
You placed a mask every morning
Hoping not to crack once again
I’m sorry if I made you weak
It was never my intention
If anything I was trying to help
But in return, I was making you suffer
Please forgive.
Sincerely, You
