Dear Poetry

Hey old friend,

I want to say I miss you, but it's my own fault our relationship has gotten here

But I still need you lets make that clear

You were the tool I used for self exploration

You were my place for self therapy

and I am forever indebted for those sleepless night vents

I'm sorry that our relationship has been reduce to this

This once in a while interaction

Just for me to use you for something

When we used to kick it just kick it to laugh at nothing

but life happens and it just happens that you happened to fade out of it

but as a free expression advocate I will hate to be a hypporcrite

so this is my attempt to reconnect

I was afraid we had grew apart

but this piece is proof that if even if unwritten you exist in my heart

I am a psychology major! I love all forms of artistic expression poetry being first love. I want to create a series of youth programs to create social changes utilizing the arts. I am a awesometastic mother to the most beautiful little girl, she's the best thing since ice cream. All that I aspire to be and do is to create for her a better place to exist in.
