Dear Poety

She gives a strong voice to the voiceless She is able to start wars and incite peace The past and the near future seem to collide when she was there Her name was poetry and she was real to me She listens and expresses my ideals and feelings We has spent a lot of time together and known each other for a long time So I cry out her name Dear Poetry Dear Poetry Dear Poetry She is my inspiration and my hope Sometimes she leaves me without any notice, but faithfully returns She endlessly asks, “Why do you call my name?” I reply, “Because I always think about you.” And she cries, My dear poet My dear poet My dear poet, you know I will never desert you
