Dear Racism

First and foremost, I’d like to say its not good to live for yesterday. That’s what you’re doing I know. Invented in the New World as an excuse to put Africa down and world wide as an excuse for gentrification. It’s okay, we are better than them anyway. Is that your reasoning? Is that your excuse, for the white washed and arrogant abuse? Working the world round, to and fro. How did you get so far without being stopped? I don’t know. Yet I see your tricks, your ruse, your lies, your snake tongue and simple disguise. You target the lost, those who don’t belong. And sing them your sickly-sweet siren’s song. Then poison their thoughts to make them believe; argumentation is clever but the purpose, to deceive. You are easy to spot if the symptoms are right, but you are good at hiding darkness behind light. And not limited to one race, religion, or culture, people everywhere use you against each other. Ingenious, you appeal to the child in us all; the ignorance, blame, the pride before the fall. Still we never get there for your goal is out of reach no matter how many followers or generations you teach. That is your master trap, your perpetual motion machine, to task us with the impossible of whipping the world clean. You fooled us into a closed mind and cold heart, and serving your purpose, you tore us apart. Now curly hair is a bad thing if you are black. And each person punished for genes they can’t take back. I’m not sure if you see anything wrong with that. The effect is so real while you are artificial, and you impact everyone from the homeless to high ranking officials.

You’ve got a lot of power, I’ll say this is true. Though really, I feel sorry for you. Made blind and insane by misguided hate, you can only destroy; you will never create. So much good you will not see, your heart is aloof, and your mind is not free. Sitting on a pedestal lonely and ignorant all because you can’t handle anything different. I’m sure you won’t listen, consider, or think, but if we stop listening to you your plans will flounder and sink. If we look past our hatred, stereotypes, and blame and try to solve our problems instead of calling names. We can rise up together and find a solution rather than putting out more mind pollution. If we relax and try to be humble then the walls that divide us all will crumble. Just look past yourself and unlock your cage. Realize you are not the only good one in this day and age.
