Dear Sarah

I watched the night sky wash into a pale blue

5am, birds singing, white noise

The entire time I thought of you

The shared room, bringing my feelings to light

Show me that you love me

Oh, well this is my plight

Put your hands on my waist

Scream it from your window

Clingy and unrequited is my taste

Tell me how you feel

Give me a goodbye,

Or give me a kiss

Why do I reach for the unattainable

who is it that I really miss?

I haven't got a clue

I'm not sure if it's your shadow

Or if it's really you

Love Always,

Sage
