Dear Self-Hatred

Dear Self-hatred,

You cannot stop me.

For I have grown too strong,

And grown to smart,

To let you control me.

Dear Self-hatred,

You will not get in my way again.

You will not stop me from being loved,

Or loving myself,

For I have learned your tricks,

And learned how to tune you out.

Dear Self-hatered,

You hold no power against me any longer.

You live in my past now, not my present or future,

For I am not longer a slave to your ways,

And i have broken the chains you used to bind me with.

Dear Self-hatred,

have

won.

Sincerely,

Becky
