Dear Shortcake my rat,
Shortcake, since you've gone I've felt an ache. Why did you have to make my heart break?
Shorty, I hope you're watching me from above because our love will forever go on.
My rat, you were a brat. But I would never make you scat, because I loved you more than an older woman loves her cat.
Child of mine, you were divine. I pine for you like my father does for wine.
My energizer bunny, you were beyond funny. You were as sweet as honey, I would pay so much money to see you once more.
There will be no more rhyme, because all I want to say now is I miss you.
