Dear Sister, I love you
Dear Sister, I love you,
And I'll protect you from the day
For anyone who tries to hurt you,
I'll stand in their way.
Nothing will ever stop you,
From living out your dreams.
I'll be right behind you,
For eternity it seems.
Dear Sister, I love you,
Even though we fight.
You're still the one I worry about,
Every single night.
I hope you go to college.
I hope you'll understand,
Why until I'm in a grave,
Boys will be banned.
Dear Sister, I love you,
You know I always will.
And the friends you'll get in fights with,
I promise not to kill.
That bratty boy in first grade who wants to pull your hair,
Ha! I dare him to!
I'll hurt him then and there.
Dear Sister, I love you,
When you're crying and screaming at me.
I'll always try to calm you down,
Because you're only three.
You have no idea how much I love you.
Even though that's true,
I'll still always show how much I care about you.
Dear Sister, I promise,
To always step aside.
And if you make a mistake,
Hey! I tried!
And if you want to get married,
I guess that's okay.
I'll be your maid of honor,
But let's not think of that today!
