Dear society,

You call me pretty,

saying that it's rare to have such eyes.

You must be right,

it's as if there is only a few races

who stand by those eyes.

You call me smart,

explaining how it isn't

fair that I have an A in math.

Is that so?

Because I seem to failing

with an F in tow.

Oh, what type of life do I live

to ever deserve such representation?

You wear my clothes but say my food is stinky?

You love my language but snicker when you hear it?

I just don't understand.

Where is it that you stand?

From the mouth of a brown skinned asian

who would have resided in Southeast Asia,

Kiminy Chhith.
