Dear Soulmate

As I look into your eyes,

I see my innocence.

As I feel you heart beat beneath my hand,

I can feel the clock ticking;

My childhood passing by; Burning

As if it was a communistic witch.

The innocence boils into nothingness

And here I am.

Looking into your beautiful brown eyes

Seeing my innocence and childhood

Passing away. Tick Tock Tick

I see the changes and I see magic.

I feel the age graying my temples

Taking my legs and back and hands.

I can feel my bones settle to dust

And the After pulling me into Eternity.

But still…here I am

Staring into your mind, your heart, your soul

Those perfect honey globes

Making me drift into a different reality

Forcing me through pain and joy;

Through all of those moments of no return

Those times of longing and regret.

Oh God! How I long and want!

Oh God! How I regret and apologize!

As I look into your eyes

I see myself in truth

Your eyes…the windows to your soul

The windows to MY soul

To my very existence

My very truth

As I look into your eyes

And I look into your soul

I see everything that I am

And everything I shall always be

I see hopes and dreams and

everything in between

But most of all

When I stare into your soul

When I dare myself to see

I can make out the world

Where it’s just you and me

And so my love

When I look into your eyes

All of my dreams come true.
