Dear Steph

Dear Steph,

I don’t understand what happened with us.

We used to talk every day,

Sharing secrets and fears,

Dreams and laughs

We were sisters,

Inseparable,

Always together

And now we barely speak.

Was it because I moved?

Or did I get too annoying?

Did you just stop liking me?

Give me a reason.

Maybe it was you,

Or maybe it was your mom.

Was your life falling apart?

Were you just too unhappy?

Whatever the reason,

I miss you a lot.

I miss our conversations,

And our talks in the parking lots.

I miss going to your house

And watching those movies,

I miss coffee dates and cigarettes,

And your makeup tutorials.

I don’t know why,

But I just can’t let go.

You’re my best friend, my sister,

And I miss you more than you could know.
