Dear Storyteller

Dearest stranger with eyes that have no soul,

Do you dare to believe in fairytales?

The ones with kingdoms and dastardly foes,

Or princesses and monsters with sharp tails,

I suppose you’ve already seen death,

And seen these cruel creatures show their true form,

Unlike the tales of beasts with flaming breath,

It takes only one to render us torn,

You must know that fables are faithful friends,

Heart-warming moments and nights so hopeful,

All of these memories come to an end,

As we realize all are expendable,

Dear fabricator of life do you know,

That the stranger with no soul is your show.
