Dear Stranger on Everyone boulevard
Dear stranger on Everyone boulevard,
I do not know your name or story but I know you as human.
Our species clings to fitting in like our life depends on it; because it does.
We have scars that we bare much deeper than skin,
Lives lost by war, famine, poverty, all on the account of our inhumane human greed.
life should be so much more than a passing of time or a counting of sugar cubes.
A change in the future, for the better in our humanity.
One with hope and dreams and sanity.
Free healthcare, a loving husband or wife, a place where everyone is family,
A place where rape is identified, and most importantly the color of our skin determines more than our worth to live.
Stranger on Everyone boulevard, I no longer want to dream
I want it to be
Will you help me,
reach this destiny?
