Dear Subconscious

Dear Subconscious,

You made a mess today. A big one. You bled gray feelings on my math homework

and my english homework. How was I supposed to explain to my teachers that

I couldn't stop your emotional rampage?

You're like a tornado. In and out, but you leave your mark. You leave me damaged.

You stabbed at my heart and my mind. It hurt badly, but they didn't notice. You

disabled my heart and my mind. What use is a heart with its insides out? What

    use is a mindless mind?

No use. No use at all.

You made a mess today and you bled me dry.

You killed me.

Then the bell rang and I walked out of class.

I'll see you tomorrow, I guess. You probably won't read my letter.

Love, Your Consciousness.
