Dear, Teacher

Questions I ask,
Sometimes I get no reply.
I do the math, but I won’t add up
And you can’t explain to me why.

You teach out of the book.
Well I could do that myself
Your class is stressing me out.
This is bad for my health.

Sometimes I think your ultimate goal
Is to have me embarrassed
You call on me when I don’t know the answer
Then talk about what the color of my hair is.

“Joking” that
Maybe the dye got to my mind
And that’s the reason
I can’t turn in my assignments on time.

Even though you are rude,
And your class I’ve come to hate.
The only reason I’ve stuck with it
Is because I need it to graduate.
