Dear Teacher

Dear teacher...

I don’t think you realize

How difficult it is to finish my work,

When all I can think of is my own demise

And that the work causes that.

I retreat to my room

After I return from school

Away to my personal doom.

I just get so stressed.

I can not handle it,

It makes me depressed.

It’s like this endless cycle

I keep going around,

It may slow down.

It never stops though.

I just may drown

So, dear teacher…

Please understand

That I understand the material,

I just can not always do the work.

Unless I want to cause my early burial

Sincerely,

The quiet student

In the back...
