Dear Tinder Boy

Dear Tinder Boy,

My heart flutters

I see you my screen, and I start to mutter

This won’t last, this is something quick and fun

But then we talk, and you make my heart go numb

You promise to see me time and time again

You have me wrapped around your finger; it might not ever end

In a drunken rage, I let my feelings fly

But then you said why even try

I’m so tired of these games we play

First, we were cool talk every day

Next, you say the distance, can’t make us the same

Then, I may see you, and you try to slide

Your plans fall through, and you go back and hide

It’s 3 am, we’re up taking pics

Its 7 am, regrets hit

You text me every day even though we’re supposed to be friends

I stop the communication because it has to end

I miss you,

Tinder Girl
