Dear Tomorrow

Dear Tomorrow:

You are always

A step ahead of me

Never can I fully reach you, nor do

I want to.

You are unknown,

Mysterious and distant

Promising a better day, but will that day

Ever come.

You foster terror

Strike fear in

Worried hearts, wondering what

Could happen.

But, you also provide hope

Reassurance and opportunity

That dreams can

Come true

You don’t know me

Nor do I know you

But let’s start with

My name is Alexandra

Sincerely, Alex
