Dear Truth,

You are constructed of everything but yourself, feeding off

Of those you prey, keeping a hold as you try your best to prove.

But you are nothing but lies, deep like a cut with no healing

A haphazardness to a cycle known to all and your reign fallen to a beggar.

Afloat you try to be

but the hollowness grows bigger as the weight of your fiction rises,

The glass sparkling.

You can’t fool me for I am stronger, and you will never come out of hiding

As your crave grows deeper.

I control you, and reaching my soul is undeniably impossible with my will to forget is a never ending path

Or so true I believe it to be.

Sincerely, E
