Dear World:
I know we’ve been through this before,
You don’t want questions anymore.
But I just can’t get this in my mind.
You hold the answers I seek to find.
Why must I continue on this way?
Why do you tell me I need to stay?
The people that are living here on you…
I’m sorry you know what they do..
I gotta admit its crazy here,
I’m not sure we’ll make it one more year.
You let us live like this, but why?
They’re hurting more than just your sky.
You love them all, no matter what?
But deeply through your skin they cut!
Make them stop! Do something more!
Before they think you’re just folk lore.
You want to let them choose their path?
That’s the reason you save your wrath!?
Oh, World! What’s wrong? You’re crying now!
Wish I could understand somehow…
You love them so much, yet you’re crying,
Because of them, you’re slowly dying,
Because of them you’re killing yourself!
Your love for them is better than health?
Okay, world, I think I understand.
I’ll do my best and reach out my hand.
Dear World, guess what? It’s crazy here!
But I’ll try my best to make it another year.
