Dear World...
Dear world, I been feeling like you owe me something
You left me with nothing took my joy, poise, and self confidence
In essence it was my fault, lessons I learned to guard my heart but how do you move past it being torn apart
Parkinson’s the way I’m shaking, slaving away since I was seven,
Only to know I don’t fit in, Your dreams are all you want in the end
Defend the run, play the pass, but I’m not fast enough and lack the size
Stuck in a grey space, My eye still on the prize, The chase is pointless
I felt so hopeless, this was my focus, at 16 my heart’s desire was consumed in fire and brimstone
On the 2nd they took Kwon way to young to be gone, when everybody did me wrong he was there, 22 days pass and so does Zay, cried and cried about it, hit me deep
Survivor’s guilt woke me out of my sleep, trudging through sorrow I was knee deep
Didn’t have anything going for myself, so why not me, why that stray ain’t kill me, I shouldn’t think like this Lord I need help
Maximum security had me feeling chained down, like Q double homi,
Let them fry like bacon in the skillet, chopper sounds like Skrillex
I could feel it in my soul, Everything went cold in that Summer
I was left out to dry that Summer, had to battle through storm that Summer
Thunder and rain, engulfed in pain, nothing was the same that Summer
Three day vay kay, Friday to Sunday, swear if this was a movie it would make Sundance
I wish I had one more chance, I would hold your hand
Land of the milk and honey couldn’t compare to where you reside
After I lost her I wanted to hide, that moment had me petrified
Am I next in line? We were born to die, Story of Our Lives
Your energy was infectious, remember when we used to share breakfast
Was never to flashy wasn’t with wearing a necklace
You ain’t lose the battle when you left us, you’re sitting with God, your Victorious
I grew up in two years, I had to shed a few tears, I had some problems I couldn’t explain to my peers
Probably thought I was lazy, hell I might have been depressed, I really need some rest
I was consumed in my stress, but I’m better now
I wanna know what’s next, Father guide my steps
