Dear world,

What if we uninvented technology?

Would this world fail?

Would it become brittle and frail?

Would people love one another more?

Or would they limit themselves and never open any other doors?

What if you never had a car?

What would we have to take us far?

Would you never leave home?

Or would you allow your feet to be the things that let you roam?

What if you never had a computer?

Would you limit your curiosity?

Or would your imagination breach the nebulosity?

Would your papers become harder to write?

Or would a pen on paper feed your appetite?

What if you never had a camera?

Would your fleeting moments be lost?

Or would you be able to paint the memories with nothing tossed?

How would others ever know the amazing places you’ve been?

Would you be able to describe every detail of the things you’ve seen?

What if you never had a television?

What would be your source of entertainment?

Would nature give you enough sustainment?

Or would the beauty of this world become routine?

Would you only wish listen to what is told by personalities on a wide screen?

Or would your opinions come from reality rather than machines?

What if you never had the internet?

Would you suffer alone?

Would you limit your knowledge to what is simply known?

Or would you give the people around you more attention?

Or would you let pages of books expand your comprehension?

If this world never had technology it would be so limited

But it would also be unlimited
