dear world,

Dear World,
You are such a beautiful thing
 With your aurora of colors
 And fresh scents you produce
 You create such powerful emotions
 With every forecast you display
You don’t deserve the things you’ve experienced
 The littering
 The pollution
You’ve never meant to hurt anyone
So why do they purposefully hurt you?
 You’re constantly working
You never seem to get a break
It’s tragic to see you distressed
 Yet you never stop turning
 You flourish the prettiest flowers
 Fill the ocean with waves
 Your perfections overpower your flaws
The flaws that they have created
I want to explore every part of you
From the highest mountain in Utah
To the warmest ocean in Fiji
 Through the city of France
 And the castles in England
You are exemplery in so many ways
Anyone to think otherwise is oblivous to your beauty
It has taken so much time
So much damage had to be done
For them to finally realize how great you are
But now they know that they need to do better
 Be better
 For you to survive
 You optimistic world.
