Dear World, Life is a Maze
Dear World,
I walk into the room,
and find that my path is blocked.
I turn around to start anew,
and find that I am shocked.
There are many paths for me to take.
But only one will hold my needs.
The others will only be a fake.
Only one will do the deed.
A maze there is with many paths to take.
Choose any one but the right,
and they will lead to heartache.
Only one will help you wake.
This path is never easy.
In fact, very few make it through.
Those who fail are lazy,
and those who make it grew.
A maze this is and there is no guiding hand.
A maze this is and this place is grand.
There needs to be a lot of fortitude,
and to go with it, a stubborn attitude.
The path is confusing with its many twisting roads.
In fact, to get lost is the most common woe.
The path is difficult with danger at every turn.
In fact, every problem you should deal with concern.
A maze this really isn't, but it might as well be,
because life is hard, and many would agree.
But life is a maze, with its many twists and turns.
Life is a maze with many concerns.
